TriTales.gif (3052 bytes)To start off this report I will have to say this book can be really hard to read at times because some of the tales are not as interesting as others so it’s a struggle to read this book straight through. But since you don’t have to read from the beginning to understand the end you can skip around as much as you want and still know what is going on. Now on to the good stuff concerning this book. This 800+ page book consists of three Star Wars Tales books.  The short stories written in this book are written by some well known authors that you may recall from other Star Wars books you have read such as Timothy Zahn, Barbara Hambly, Kathy Tyers, and Kevin J. Anderson to name a few. This book will go more indebted about things that happened in the movie or tell you what happened that you didn’t get to see in the movie and how certain things became.  The book starts off with Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina and as you probably have already figured out this part of the book takes place in the Mos Eisley Cantina. This fantastic book starts off with one of the most popular bands in the Star Wars Saga, the Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes. In this book you can read about the Jawas, the Bartender from the Cantina, Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba to name a few. The next book is Tales of the Bounty Hunters where you find out why Boba Fett is the most notorious bounty hunter in the universe and why others are no competition to him. The last book is a Tales from Jabba's Palace where you find out exactly how many people want Jabba dead and how Boba Fett does the impossible by escaping from the Sarlacc Pit. Overall this book is very good because a lot of respected authors have put some hard work into the tale they wrote about. If you want to find out what happened that you never heard about or saw or just wondering what happened to that one guy pick up this book and start reading.
